WASHINGTON — Once the clock struck noon Monday, former President Trump became President Trump once again, as the first president to be elected to two non-consecutive terms since Grover Cleveland in 1893.

And his supporters are absolutely enthralled about it.

“I’m highly ecstatic we’re going to have Donald Trump [now]President Trump,” said Butch Harmon, a 61-year-old retiree from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. “I’m looking forward to common sense policies that are actually going to benefit the U.S. citizens.“

Harmon’s positivity was contagious across the nation’s capital as Trump supporters converged on the city for the inauguration of the 47th President.

For Harmon, who has voted for Trump all three times since 2016, he said he expects Trump to bring energy prices to go down, reduce government regulations and reverse a general sense of malaise that he believes has weighed on America lately.

“I think [the country has] been neglected for quite some time and I think it’s time for a change,” he said.
